My name is Delara
I have finished high school diploma at Tehran’s School of Music for Girls ,majoring in Santoor Under the supervision of my maestros Mrs Mina Oftade And Esmail Tehrani , my maestro in another instrument Tonbak was Mr Mohammad Esmaili. In Year 2006 I entered the University of Azad and I achieved my Bachelor of music in Santoor with the supervision of Maestro Pashang Kamkar Who is one of the most celebrated artists in his field.
After finishing the university and due to my interest in in working with children, I decided to further my education in this field. With the help and support of my great teachers Mr. Naser Nazar And Mrs sudabe Salem I managed to gain my post graduate and work while I learn. Teaching is a big part of what I do, while working with children I started giving lessons in tonback And santoor For a few music schools such as Badbadak for almost five years.
One of the highlights of this time was with Badbadak School where I had a course for international music and instrument knowledge for children. Alongside teaching I have done some charity work, which is a passion of mine, including teaching Santoor To visually impaired at White Cane Organization in Iran.
One of my main goals in the past few years was to focus on special need children as well as foster home children. My friend and I have put together a band to perform at various occasions. Our goal has been to teach valuable social skills to these beautiful little people while entertain them for a few hours. Our programs have becoming recognized and we have been reciving more request from such events from orphanages and hospitals. Now we are ready to do the same programmes for charity organization here in New Zeland. It would be our pluseure to collaborate with your charities as part of our social responsibilities.
